There are some people in this world who are naturally empathetic but there are also others who seem to be lacking in that good quality. Perhaps you might think about a bully that you knew at some point in your life. They just seem to have no mercy when it comes to the fact that they are picking on or abusing you. Although most people would say this happens to schoolchildren, it can also happen to an adult.




Bullying is a serious issue and it can lead to low self-esteem, depression and many other problems. Even though bullying is a common problem, there are some people who are willing to step up to the plate and make a difference. That is what happened when a woman who owned a bridal shop heard what was going on and decided she would do something about it. A customer had come into try on a bridal gown and as you know, it is one of the most important days of your life.

A conversation was overheard between a mother and a daughter. It started when the daughter said in a loud voice, “I don’t understand how someone like that can marry, I thought whales did not mate.”

There was a plus size girl who was trying on a dress and she tried not to cry. At the same time, she was blushing because of the harsh words. The store owner was busy fitting her and she started to move away but the owner told her to stop.

The store owner then walked right over to the mother and daughter and said: “I don’t understand how you think you can get a dress from my store.”

The girl answered arrogantly, “Really? Then you’re wrong. In fact, we’re here to pick it up because it has already been paid.”

The owner asked what her name was and she went over to write something at the counter.

When the woman asked what it was about, the owner said that she was giving her a full refund.

“You can look for another store to buy you wedding dress, because I just voided your order and I refuse to help you. Now, leave my store before I call the police.”

The girl really started to freak out because she was only a week away from her wedding. She could never get another dress made.

Her mother intervened “We had ordered this dress with special details for her wedding. How can you void the order?”

To which the owner replied “ I voided the order because I don’t want any bride to feel like they don’t deserve to marry because of their looks. Apparently both of you feel like you are better than others. And there is no place for idiots in my store. I am calling the police, and given the fact that I still have your credit card data, I will charge the damages caused by your daughter to it,”

They walked out of the store and the other customers were thrilled that she had stepped in.

What they didn’t know is that the store owner had a daughter with a thyroid imbalance. It was the same issue that affected the woman trying on the wedding gown.
