It’s no secret Michael Bublé is incredibly talented. The Canadian crooner has sold more than 40 million records globally and has won various awards, including four Grammys.
Artists he has collaborated with include Shania Twain, Dolly Parton, Idina Menzel, Boyz II Men and Blake Shelton
After Bublé posted an Instagram of his son playing the piano, we now know how gifted his family is and how attached the singer is to his children.
Bublé was born on Sept. 9, 1975, in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada. His artistic talents bloomed early, with his mother telling Oprah that he had told her at a mere two years old “he was going to be famous.” In the years that followed, Bublé would continue listening to his grandfather’s jazz records and honing his skills until he began taking the stage at 16 in local nightclubs.
In February 2003, Bublé released his self-titled debut album to wide praise, making the top 10 in countries such as Canada, the United Kingdom and Australia. His career would go from strength to strength, with appearances on television, DVDs of his live shows and collaborations with top bands and singers. His second album, “It’s Time,” in 2005 would see even more commercial success and make Bublé a household name and talk show staple.
Now with 11 studio albums under his belt, Bublé shows no signs of slowing down, having just released “Higher,” which lists Beatles alum Paul McCartney as a producer in March 2022. As his career flourished, so too did his personal life. He has been linked to actress Debbie Timuss and actress Emily Blunt. But his life would never be the same since meeting Argentine actress Luisana Lopilato in 2008.

Bublé and Lopilato got engaged in November 2009 and were married in March 2011. In March 2021, the singer posted a sweet post on their anniversary with the caption, “The good things in life have been better with you, and you’ve helped lift me through some of the hardest times imaginable. You’re my way better half, my hero and the light of my life.”
The couple has three children, with a fourth due in the latter half of 2022. And on July 28, 2022, Bublé posted a heartwarming video of his eldest child, son Noah, playing the piano as he tried to sing along through tears.
The video opens with Noah playing the opening notes of his father’s song “I’ll Never Not Love You” as Bublé leans on the piano edge. The surprise at his son’s confident playing shows on Bublé’s face as he smiles and points, gesturing to someone offscreen. He then begins singing along, but his voice starts to falter. He momentarily has to stop singing and the caption “I’m getting choked up” appears next to heart emojis. The proud papa continues singing, looking over at and patting his son while trying to contain his emotions. He is seen putting his hand over his heart as he sings, beaming while mouthing the words “He’s the best!” to the person offscreen.
Bublé captioned the post: “Noah surprised me after I was away on tour. He worked so hard to learn this song. So proud of my guy,” and “More talent in his little fingers than I have in my whole body.” While the video is heartwarming on its own, it holds even more meaning knowing Noah is actually a cancer survivor. He was diagnosed in 2016 with hepatoblastoma, a form of liver cancer, at three years old.

Following the devastating diagnosis, Bublé took a break from his career to care for his son. After extensive treatment, Noah has been in remission since 2017.
Bublé told People magazine his son’s battle affected him deeply.
“I don’t wish that kind of pain upon any human being, but I do feel that when you’ve truly suffered, when you’ve truly felt fear and loss, it allows you to live a deeper life.”
He had also told Australia’s Today Show the ordeal was “the worst possible thing that you could hear as a parent, and as maybe a human being. … There were a million times that my wife and I were just surviving, struggling to survive, and to breathe. … I much rather would have it have been me. Many times I wish that it had been.”
In August 2021, Bublé posted a sweet post on Noah’s eighth birthday, saying, “Today my hero turns 8! I’ve never met anyone as brave … I’ve never known anyone as kind or as good-hearted … And I’ll never truly be able to express how proud I am, or how deep and profound Mommy’s and my love is for you.”
Even after Noah’s recovery, Bublé still had a hard time processing the ordeal emotionally, breaking down in tears during a carpool karaoke segment with James Corden in October 2018 “it’s so hard to have to acknowledge it because it’s so painful to talk about.”
Since then, Bublé has gone back to singing and performing but his family still remains his top priority.
“Now I have my own kids. I have three babies where I just see my whole world through their eyes. It’s the reason why I’ll never grow tired of the magic and the sense of empathy, kindness and goodness.”
